Possible Topics

Each location has unique needs for education.  Size of group, previous education, and expected case load are considered when designed an educational program.  I will need to discuss these possibilities on the phone in order to design a course to your specific needs.  Below are some possibilities.  Many facilities mix and match.

Introduction to gynecological PT – what every PT should know.

Classes range from 3 to 8 hours.

Designed to give your entire staff an introduction to the field of GYN PT.  Practice information will be presented on the anatomy, physiology and dysfunctions of the PFM.  All orthopedic PTs should have a basic knowledge of the role of the PFM in the pelvis.  This will enhance recognition of PFM dysfunction for internal referral to your GYN PT specialist.  Types of treatments will also be discussed so that every PT has an idea of what can be provided.
